Scheduled SMS: when and why to use it?

The scheduled SMS option is one of the handiest features of our service. It lets you prepare a message and choose the exact moment it will be sent.

Typical use cases

1. Wishing a happy birthday

Prepare your birthday messages ahead of time so you never forget to wish your loved ones a happy day again.

2. Sending a reminder

Got a meeting with a client tomorrow morning? Schedule a reminder so they receive an SMS the evening before.

3. Announcing an event

Announce the opening of your shop, the start of a promotion or any other event right on time.

How does it work?

On the home page, click + Options below the form. Then fill in the desired date and time, and send as usual. Your SMS will be queued and dispatched at the exact time.

Limits to keep in mind

• The time used is French local time (UTC+1 or UTC+2 depending on daylight saving time).
• Scheduling only works with a future date — a time in the past will be rejected.
• No recurrence: a scheduled SMS = a single send.
