Sending an SMS from the internet always raises the same question: what happens to my message after it's sent?
What we keep
For legal and anti-abuse reasons, we retain:
- The content of the SMS sent
- The email address entered as the sender
- The originating IP address
- The recipient number
- The timestamp of the request and of the send
This retention is strictly confidential and limited to one year, in line with the obligations imposed on electronic communications operators.
What we never do
- No reselling of your data to third parties.
- No ads added to the SMS.
- No sharing of information with a third party, except in response to an explicit and lawful judicial request.
What about the recipient?
The recipient gets an SMS from a short code or a mobile number drawn from our GSM pool. Your identity (email, IP) is never revealed to them.
